PHG Foundation conducts Annual Community Stakeholders Forum(ACSF) & Info Sessions across 4 regions & 10 Zones for 2024/25 Programmes Review, Assessment & Planning
Banda Community Stakeholders Forum
PHG Foundation, a prominent Community Innovation & Enterprise Development Agency in Ghana conducted an annual Community Stakeholders Forums and Info Sessions with Community - based groups, Women Groups, Youth Groups, Persons with Disability and Community Opinion leaders across the Country, as part of their Community - participatory approach to reviewing their 2024 Programmes and planning towards their strategic Projects and Programmes for 2025 and beyond.
The events which took place between November 14th - 20th December, 2024, engaged participants across Ashanti Region, Bono - East, Bono & Ahafo Region converging to dialogue and engage with the Team leads, Programme Coordinators and Volunteers of PHG Foundation as their programmes for 2024 were reviewed,shedding more light on the Grassroot Innovation Scouting (GrIS ) model project of the Young Africa Innovates (YAI) Programme, which is currently ongoing across over 14 regions in Ghana, with some of the Youth who were scouted across the atypical Rural and Peri Urban Communities, partaking in the next support phase including attending Bootcamps and the Gate Support Phases.
Participants who were selected across the Communities within their Impact Missions Zones(IMZ) where PHG actively works, expressed their appreciation to PHG Foundation Team and Volunteers, for maintaining the engagement, communication, trust and respect for their community voice inclusion as the organization informed them of the state of the Youthful Innovators who were scouted from their Communities during the Grassroot Innovation Scouting ( GrIS) model of the Young Africa Innovates ( YAI) Programme. Some continued to show their utmost joy as they shared their testimony of witnessing some of the Youth from their Communities being selected to be part of the next support phase, to enable them develop their innovative solution and employ more People within the Communities and beyond. This Programme is being implemented by PHG Foundation & other sub - partners with Key Partners UNDP Ghana and the Mastercard Foundation.
They then, appealed to PHG Foundation's team to factor their other community challenges as they continue to engage Stakeholders towards developing sustainable Interventions for local Communities with the support of their Developmental Partners for 2025 and beyond
PHG Foundation Team leads, were also grateful to the Community Stakeholders for their prompt response any time they are called by the Organization's Programme Coordinators, Community Impact Volunteers & Community leaders as. They informed the stakeholders, their effort for Local Communities and Lives have not gone unnoticed across the Country, as they were
honored as the Innovative Rural Development Leaders at the 2024 Ghana Philanthropy Awards, which celebrated organizations committed to uplifting Communities across Ghana.
The Community Forums & Info sessions took place at their Community Impact Centres (CIC) including Ejura, Drobonso, Bomiri - Nkoranza, Jema/Kintampo, Nnipahiamoa - Techiman, Wenchi - Wurompo and Sabiye - Banda across the 4 regions had over 100 participants attending each session across the Zones within the Regions.
The PHG Foundation, operates with a network of dedicated Community Impact Volunteers, Team Leads & Consultants throughout the country, and have made remarkable strides in grassroots innovation scouting, Youth digital & entrepreneurship skills training, primary health promotion, AgriTech Innovation, and responsible AI research in Ghana with support of Developmental Partners.
Their Community initiatives, are aimed at empowering rural lives and communities through innovation, towards significant contribution to Ghana's rural development efforts.

As Innovative Rural Development Leaders for 2024, PHG Africa Foundation through their end of Year Community Stakeholders Engagement aim to review 2024 Programmes and develop Strategic Programmes for 2025 and beyond, as they continue to pave the way in rural advancement, setting an example for future development agencies and reinforcing the significance of innovative approaches towards Lives and Communities transformation in Ghana and Africa.
