Samuel Nartey George, has met with tech expert Malfred Kwame Kudu to discuss a partnership aimed at training youth in phone repair. Malfred, known for unlocking iPhones for global use, wants to teach others through a new learning platform. The Ministry plans to support the initiative to create jobs and boost digital skills in Ghana.

Hon. Sam George, speaking on the proposed partnership, emphasized its potential impact: “This collaboration could open doors for many young people, equipping them with employable skills while reducing the volume of faulty mobile phones entering our market. It’s exciting to witness such homegrown talent and dedication.”

The Ministry says it is committed to fostering innovation and sees this initiative as a vital step in its broader digitalization agenda. Discussions are underway to explore the development of structured training programs or certification courses that would harness Malfred’s practical experience and make it accessible nationwide.
